Music Theory
NYMC aims to provide the skills needed to read and write music notation as well as understand and analyze music, from the basics to the most advanced concepts.
A high level music theory training provides a deeper understanding of the process behind a composition through music reading, scales, intervals, keys, different musical components, etc. It is not possible to be a good musician without a solid understanding of music theory!

Composition
Our comprehensive composition training offers a profound understanding of the art of music composition by means of an extensive examination of several
components, including music theory, analysis, composition techniques, notation and score writing, historical and contemporary perspectives. Throughout their music composition journey, our students will develop their unique compositional style and will be able to create original music across different genres.

Full Music Program
Our Classical Full Music Program provides a comprehensive foundation in
traditional music education, combining music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and instrument or vocal lessons. Students take two lessons per week, one focused on music theory and the other on their instrument or voice, offering a balanced approach that strengthens technique, accelerates progress on repertoire, and develops overall musicianship.
